Our work runs completely on voluntary basis. All of our trainings are free for Ukrainians. Still, the operation doesn't come without costs. We do not pay salaries, per diems or any other rewards for anyone in our organisation.

Support our work

You can always support our work by making a donation. We do not pay salaries, per diems or anything similar. We use the collected funds to cover the necessary costs of our training and aid work. We run our fundraisers under an official permit by the National Police Board of Finland. Our permit number is: RA/2023/1562.

Use of collected funds

What do we use the collected funds on?

• Essential travel and accommodation – We reimburse our volunteers for reasonably priced travel and accommodation during their voluntary work. This includes the duration of travel to and from training or delivery missions.
• Materials for trainings – Our organisation buys necessary equipment for our trainings. Normally this is not a big expense as we mosly have what we need.
• Organisation's own vehicles – Our work simply cannot be carried out without vehicles. We maintain a modest fleet of older vehicles that our volunteers use to carry out their mission. Upkeep of the vehicles does bring us costs.
• Insurance – We all understand the risks involved in our work. However, we do need to have the legally required insurances for our vehicles. We do also take care of our volunteers by insuring them with a short-term injury related insurances within Ukraine.
• Storage space – It is important to keep the donations and our vehicles safe. For that reason we have rented a reasonably priced storage space in Finland. In Ukraine, we do have a space as well but that one is provided to us free-of-charge for now.

What do we NOT use the collected funds on?

• Non-essential travel and accommodation – Our volunteers may extend their stay in Ukraine or travel with their own travel plans. However, those will be self-expensed. Our organisation only covers essential costs from duration of work.
• Personal equipment – We do not reimburse our volunteers on personal equipment. We also do not cover maintenance or any other costs related to use of personal equipment or vehicles.
• Gifts – Any gifts must be bought with personal money. Organisation will not reimburse these.
